Frequently asked questions
Pain levels vary from person to person, but we prioritize your comfort. Before starting, we apply a topical anesthetic to numb the area. The first pass may feel slightly uncomfortable as it opens the skin, but a secondary anesthetic is then used to significantly reduce any pain. Many clients find the process so relaxing that they even fall asleep during their session!
Microblading is best for individuals with dry skin and is not recommended for those with oily skin. Excessive natural oils can push the pigment out, leading to premature pigment loss. Clients with oily skin who choose microblading may experience shorter-lasting results, typically up to 1.5 years. For longer-lasting results, we recommend our ombre brow, combination brow, and nano brow services, which are suitable for all skin types. Permanent makeup is a lifestyle choice, so consider your lifestyle before selecting a service. Microblading looks very natural and is usually undetectable to strangers. If you prefer a low-maintenance look, this service is for you!
Absolutely! You play a key role in customizing the design. During the first part of your session, we focus on mapping and measuring the design to complement your facial structure. We’ll share our ideas and vision with you, and you’ll have the chance to approve or request adjustments to ensure the design is perfect for you.
Yes, there is some downtime after the procedure. For microblading, ombre, and combo brows, it's important to keep your brows as dry as possible for the first seven days. Avoid activities that cause excessive sweating or water exposure, such as intense workouts, swimming, or saunas, to ensure optimal healing.
